About the Job – Quality Executive – Foods – Marico Sanand Gujarat

  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including sampling, testing, and evaluation of products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant certifications.
  • Enforcing consistency in quality of supplies from RM & PM Vendors by tracking their performance & system implementation.
  • Drive Q-certification at plant and subcontract location through continuous focus on quality systems documentation, improving understanding amongst team and implementation audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Document non-conformities, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Analyze test data and provide insights for quality improvement.
  • Ensure New Product Development prototype, launch and stabilization.
  • Ensure that all products meet the regulatory requirements set by local and international food safety authorities.
  • Stay updated on changes in food safety regulations and adjust quality control practices accordingly.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and work with the production team to implement quality enhancements.
  • Lead or participate in quality improvement projects aimed at reducing defects and enhancing product consistency.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into every aspect of the production process.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Education:
B.Sc in Food Technology/ MS/M.Sc(Science) in Food Technology
