Key Responsibilities:

• Must have leadership experience, as well as experience successfully developing and applying seasonings to food products; supporting and leading reactive customer briefs; proactive category initiatives; and R&D new technology evaluations and testing.

• In this exiciting role you will provide insight and hands-on contribution to develop Savory Applications and test Savory flavors for regional and global applications. You will also play the critical role of a Project Manager, providing cross-functional team leadership and guidance to more junior technologists. In this role, you will also be responsible for flavor technology development within the Savory category and to develop winning flavor systems for key regional and global customers.

• Leading high level projects for regional and global customers

• Proactively identifying future seasoning trends and category initiatives

• Understanding the competitions’ capabilities, defining category gaps

• Allocating appropriate technical resources for all projects and timely completion to maximize win rate for Sacheerome

• Implementing Seasoning Applications strategy with strategic & global customers

• Fostering strong creativity, innovation & presentation skills within the Seasoning team

• Ensure close relationships with key acounts through teamwork, brainstorming and new technology sessions

• Provide clear communication promote cross-functional team collaboration on major projects to contribute to winning submissions

• Advanced knowledge of flavors/seasoning, including regional taste differences, and superb ability to taste and discriminate sensory properties of ingredients, flavors & applications

• Knowledgeable in raw materials, food regulations, production processes

Requirements:

• BSc/ MSc degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, etc.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, ingredient or flavor industry.

• We are looking for an individual with practical experience, strong communication & presentation skills, strong leadership ability and project management skills. This individual would build flavor portfolios and provide technical support for key accounts and customers as well as lead and develop seasoning team talent and coach more junior team members.
