Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

Tech Transfer/Product transfer activities to Third-Party Manufacturing units.
Support Lead Scientist in maintenance activities of current product at TPM
TPM Product Pipeline support to ensure all activities are completed on time.
Lead and Support new or revised production process development for new or line-extension product at TPM.
Support PR&D in bench, scale-up, plant trial, and manufacturing of new/revised products intended to produce at TPM.
Assist Lead Scientist & TPM team in manufacturing support and troubleshooting for existing formulation and process.
Lead & Support projects to improve TPM costs, product margins, quality and business excellence goals in product and process related fields.
Assist in new process qualifications and validation studies at TPM.
Track and compile shelf-life studies results and provide required technical justifications to Lead Scientist for the shelf-life recommendations for TPM Projects to keep all projects on track.
Assist documentation to support product registration and First Lot to Stock commercialization activities for TPM site.
Direct own daily activities to meet project deliverables and priorities
Document experiment, results, and observation in a timely and accurate manner. Analyze data, formulate conclusion, and write report and provide to Lead Scientist for TPM Projects.
Compliance to all applicable safety, quality, and Abbott policies and procedures
Support Lead-Scientist to design and conduct advanced independent and multidisciplinary technology transfer and application developments for TPM projects.
Support in applying advanced technology and manufacturing knowledge to projects and manufacturing efficiency.

Major Responsibilities:

Tech transfer to manufacturing sites (TPMs)
Review/Prepare relevant technical documents for flawless execution of TPM projects.
Collect and compile technical parameters from plant trials run for FLTS recommendations.
Initiate necessary change management in M-file, ABTRAQ etc.
Close coordination with different stakeholders to keep project on track and closure of reports.
Contributes to achieve overall project goals in timely manner.
Adhere to project milestones for sub-projects, and assures activities are on path.
Summarize data and analyze results; formulate conclusions and reviews progress.
Support feasibility and optimization on studies at lab, pilot, and plant scale.

Skills/Experience Requirements

Basic knowledge of food and Dairy science and technology principles and applications.
Fluency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Troubleshooting and resolve/recommend
Demonstrated ability to assess and produce scientific data.
20 – 30% travel may be required.
Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload.

Education and Working Experience:

Dairy or Food Technologist having experience in Food/Dairy/Nutrition Industry. Candidate should have experience of Dryer, Evaporator, and dry blending operation. Experience in R&D/Tech Transfer and TPM management will be preferred.
