Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Head to oversee and manage the entire manufacturing operations at our Rajpura facility. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in food manufacturing and demonstrate the ability to efficiently manage 4-5 production lines while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management:
    • Lead and manage daily operations of food production lines, ensuring optimal performance and achieving production targets.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and guide production managers, line supervisors, and staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient workforce.
    • Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
    • Implement stringent quality control measures to maintain product consistency.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards, including FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
    • Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits.
  • Inventory & Resource Management:
    • Ensure the efficient utilization of raw materials, minimizing waste and ensuring timely procurement.
    • Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare detailed reports on production metrics, operational performance, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in food manufacturing with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-line operations.
    • Proven track record in managing high-volume food production facilities.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Deep understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in operational planning, budget management, and performance analysis.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
