What makes the role meaty?
  • Oversee daily quality operations, including raw material inspections, in-process checks, finished product evaluations, and sanitation verification.
  • Maintain and enforce quality standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance is in place.
  • Prepare for and manage external audits, inspections, and customer quality assessments.
  • Maintain QA records, verification logs, corrective actions, and traceability documentation.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Prepare quality and food safety performance reports for leadership.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor QA/QC staff.
  • Conduct ongoing training for plant employees on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
  • Analyse quality trends and implement process improvements to reduce defects, waste, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, procurement, and R&D teams to enhance product consistency and operational efficiency.
We hope that you have..
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Dairy/Food Science, or related field.
  • 10 –15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control — FMCG experience is mandatory.
  • Must have strong factory or plant-level working experience in quality & food safety.
  • In-depth understanding of FSMS, HACCP, FSSAI regulations, GMP, GLP, and audit compliance.
  • Experience handling plant-level audits and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
