Role & responsibilities
1. The incumbent will act as bridge between Sales and operations team to address consumer complaints including sample gathering, testing and devising CAPA plan.
2. The incumbent will also work with ABD for raw milk quality, procurement team for RMPM quality along with rejections, testing and continuously reviewing quality control processes, procedures and capabilities.
3. The incumbent will also be responsible to provide safe, secure and efficient working environment at factories by ensuring equipments safety.
4. The incumbent will also groom and mentor quality executives across different manufacturing locations in best practices and quality standards.
5. Co-ordinate with Factory team on Raw material and Packaging material Online rejections and Co-ordination with Procurement for Supplier joint testings.
6. To continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most efficient methods for meeting quality requirements and making recommendation for improvement as appropriate.
7. To coordinate and control the day to day operations of inspection personnel, so as to provide a safe, secure and efficient working environment, ensuring;
a. All plant and equipments are safely operated.
b. All physical resources are maintained, stored and organised to allow efficient and effective operation.
c. To control and direct all QC resources, operations and facilities in order to adhere to project programmes.
d. To manage and direct a team of skilled, semiskilled and technically based individuals through sound personnel practices such as;
i. Performance management
ii. Relevant and effective inductions
iii. Identification of training needs
iv. Coaching and Discipline
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum of 8 to 10 years Dairy Industry experience off which at least 5 years’ experience in Quality function and Institutional Experience of Chemical and Instrumentation Analysis
B.Tech/B.E. – Bachelor of Technology / Engineering in Any Specialization
1. Strong scientific rigour and intellect
2. Strong knowledge of food ingredients, their functional and nutritional properties, functional foods, healthy beverages, etc.
3. Strong knowledge of FSSAI standards, BIS norms, food laws and regulations in India
4. Knowledge of nutritional labelling, nutritional claims and knowledge of preparing dossier for scientific and nutritional claims
5. Knowledge of sensory evaluation and model of CPT for product evaluation
6. Should have good understanding of different manufacturing processes, hygiene and GMP, etc
