Role & responsibilities :
  • Drive Regulatory & Certification Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing locations consistently comply with FSSAI regulations and internal policies. Support sustenance of certifications such as FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, RSPO, and HALAL through strong audit preparedness, documentation control, and timely closure of observations.
  • Strengthen FSQMS & HACCP Governance: Implement and periodically review Food Safety Management Systems and HACCP plans to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate food safety risks. Ensure pre-requisite programs, traceability systems, recall readiness, and incident management processes are robust and effective.
  • Lead Audit & Compliance Management: Coordinate internal and external audits across locations. Ensure GMP standards are upheld, corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively, and compliance scores improve year-on-year.
  • Drive Structured Performance Reviews: Facilitate monthly and periodic Food Safety & Quality reviews with Plant Leadership and Business stakeholders. Track key metrics, highlight risks, and ensure timely action closures through structured governance mechanisms.
  • Manage Risk, Deviations & Incidents: Provide leadership during food safety deviations, non-conformances, and export risk assessments. Ensure root cause analysis is conducted effectively and preventive measures are institutionalized to avoid recurrence.
  • Build Capability & Food Safety Culture: Develop and implement structured training programs in partnership with HR and plant teams. Promote awareness initiatives, best practice sharing, and recognition mechanisms to embed a strong food safety and quality mindset across the organization.
  • Strengthen Consumer Care Complaints related to Food Safety & Data Governance: Oversee effective functioning of the Consumer Care Cell for addressing food safety complaints by ensuring complaint tracking, data analysis, and trend reporting are robust. Translate consumer insights into actionable improvements with Sales and Manufacturing teams.
Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology
