Vadilal is the third largest company in India for manufacturing ice-cream, with a production capacity 3.25 lacs litres per day. Vadilal spells quality, availability, variety and state-of-the-art machinery and equipment. It has, however, been a long journey for the group, which traces its origins way back to 1907.
We have an opportunity for “Officer – Production” at our Bareilly Plant Location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of dairy technology and ice cream manufacturing processes including mix preparation, pasteurization, homogenization, aging, freezing, and hardening.
- Understanding of CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) systems and hygiene practices in dairy plants.
- Knowledge of food safety standards FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO standards.
- Ability to maintain production records, reports, and batch documentation.
- Awareness of wastage control and process optimization to improve productivity.
- Coordination with maintenance, quality, and stores departments for smooth plant operations.
- Strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and compliance in production areas.
- Monitoring assembly line and manufacturing process to detect bottle neck and implement improvements.
- Verify production output against strict product specification and company standard.
Technical Skills:
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools, ERP/SAP if applicable).
- Technical knowledge regarding manufacturing process of Ice-cream.
