Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech – in Food Technology

Salary Budget: 4.2 L CTC + Incentives

Experience: Preference for the candidates who have worked in frozen food manufacturing industry with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Skills: Enterprising mindset, Excellent Communications skills , Proficient with computer applications and Good in Analytical , Problem Solving

Work Location: Electronic City, Bangalore

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hrs: 12 Hours shift


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Lead to join our team at a India’s largest Handcrafted Frozen Momo Manufacturing Company. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring quality control, and implementing process improvements. Your role will be crucial in driving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Cross-check production planning and develop a sequential implementation plan for the production floor.
  • Monitor daily resource usage and identify opportunities to reduce them compared to the previous month.
  • Verify production vouchers and submit them to the accounts department.
  • Review raw material (RM) indents to ensure appropriateness according to the production plan.
  • Monitor production output during shifts and identify ways to reduce raw material and energy consumption while increasing output.
  • Conduct regular checks for deviations in each production section and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and new product introductions on the production floor, ensuring proper training for the staff.
  • Record and analyze wastages in each section and develop strategies to minimize waste compared to the previous month.
  • Review reports maintained by senior executives and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Act as a backup for senior production executives in their absence.
  • Adapt and align production plans with any last-minute changes effectively.
  • Optimize the utilization of maintenance personnel and ensure effective preventive and reactive maintenance.
  • Perform line clearance checks at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of finished products and take appropriate steps as per SOPs.
  • Monitor and control food costs within the planned budget.
  • Allocate resources in a cost-efficient and effective manner to maximize productivity.
  • Approve leaves for department members during shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production activities and performance.
  • Check and sign the shift changeover report prepared by senior production executives.
  • Ensure monthly progress in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the quality department to identify and implement measures to reduce defects compared to the previous month.

About the company –

We began our journey in 2010 and set up a chain of 16 retail outlets. We used to make Momos in-house to sell them at our own retail outlets. We faced difficulties managing both the front-end retail operations and the back-end manufacturing operations. So, we decided to outsource Momos instead of making them in-house. While searching for manufacturers of Momos, we found few companies who were manufacturing machine made Momos, but machine made Momos were not as juicy and visually pleasing as handmade ones. We wanted to buy handcrafted frozen Momos, but suppliers were unorganized and couldn’t offer longer product shelf life due to poor food safety standards.

​Lack of organized manufacturers for handcrafted frozen Momos in the market made us realize that there is an opportunity to become one. For over a decade, we have strived to be the solution to the problem we had faced. We started manufacturing handcrafted momos with a good shelf life and along the course of time started producing different flavors to meet the ever changing cravings of people.

​Till date, we have experimented and successfully launched 24 different flavors, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Today, we are one of the very few companies in India that is solely focused on manufacturing of handcrafted frozen Momos at a large scale with HAACP food safety certification, supplying all over the country wat affordable prices.
