Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality & Vendor Development
- Facilitate the development and approval of new suppliers for raw and packaging materials.
- Review supplier quality documentation and coordinate submissions for approval processes.
- Conduct supplier pre-screening assessments covering capability, certifications, compliance, and quality systems.
- Perform supplier manufacturing site audits and quality assessments as per established guidelines.
- Evaluate suppliers’ process controls, food safety systems, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the qualification and onboarding of alternate and additional suppliers.
Vendor Performance Management
- Develop and implement supplier quality rating and performance evaluation systems.
- Monitor supplier performance related to product quality, service levels, and compliance.
- Analyze supplier quality trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update supplier quality databases and performance records.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives through regular feedback and engagement.
Quality Systems & Digitalization
- Support digital transformation initiatives within the Quality function.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of quality management systems.
- Ensure systematic documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
- Provide support for quality system audits, reviews, and continuous improvement projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Vendor Development, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control within the FMCG/Food & Beverage industry.
- Experience in supplier audits, food safety systems, and quality management processes is preferred.
