Position: Quality Assurance Executive
Location: Indore
Experience: 3 + Years of experience, Minimum, in the Food Industry as a Quality officer.
Qualification: Postgraduate or Graduate in Microbiology / Food Technology / Food Science
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
• Quality & Process Control (incoming quality check, fumigation process, cleaning system, packing, labeling as per FSSAI & legal metrology requirements).
• Product analysis (Chemical & Physical)
• RPC Audits (Implementation of GMP, Process System, Pest control, Facility Requirements & documentation)
• Coordinating with customers (handling of complaints, corrective action)
• Coordinating with B&M team (B to C & B to B)
• Coordinating with another region executive to resolve quality-related issues, documentation, and product quality.
• Coordinating with suppliers to control & improve the quality
• Training of workers for GMP & Hygiene
• Documenting all the QC activities of RPC
• Coordinating with vendors in the implementation of ISO 22000, HACCP & FSMS Sourcing bulk raw material
• Inspection, testing & acceptance of raw materials as per requirements at the source, like farmers, consolidators & mills
• Coordinate with buying team on the sourcing and processing schedules for quality control
• Working with a third-party agency or testing facilities for testing
• Monitoring the bulk material storage at the warehouse from a quality perspective
• Liaising with agencies like warehousing, pest control, millers, etc.
• Handling third-party vendor
Desired Profile:
• Have at least 3+ years of relevant working experience.
• As a Quality Controller/Lab In-charge or handling Quality Assurance at a third-party packing unit.
• Knowledge of handling Organic products is preferred.
• Good in communication, MS Word & Excel
• Retail experience preferred
