Position: Sr. Manager Regulatory affairs
Reporting to: National Head – QA
Location: Mumbai HO
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- B. Tech in food technology
- Minimum 15-18 yrs of experience of working in food industry, preferably beverage industry, including both manufacturing location and corporate roles in QA and handling legal affairs.
- In depth knowledge of regulations & requirements of regulatory agencies along with technical skills as mentioned below.
1. FSSAI: Basic licensing process on FOSCOS, Labelling regulations, Modification of licenses, thorough knowledge of “conditions of license” for manufacturer, relabeller, storage, distribution, transporter etc. Various clauses related to deviation and penalties.
2. BIS : Complete knowledge of licensing, testing protocols, marking requirements, SIT etc. for packaged drinking water and Natural mineral water.
3. Legal metrology : Regulations for pack size registration, stamping, penalty clauses in case of deviation, labelling requirements as per weights and measurements .
4. CGWA : Process and criteria for obtaining NOC, other requirements i.e. water conservation, rain water harvesting etc.
5. PCB : Complete knowledge of obtaining CTE/CTO as per requirements and to ensure compliance as per norms.
- Excellent communication skills along with drafting expertise for various regulatory activities.
- Preferably should have undergone various training programs related to regulatory affairs.
