About the Job – Production System Development (SSP) Manager – Ferrero ​Baramati​ Maharashtra

About the Role:

To endorse and sustain a culture of “Continuous Improvement” in collaboration with responsible functions HODs (in accordance with Professional Family guidelines), and to support, supervise, and represent cross-functional for Ferrero Operational Excellence initiatives and principles in accordance with Plant overall strategies. In collaboration with the Professional Family and the Plant Manager perform an analysis for plant processes, identifies the areas for improvement, and identified the potential projects at the global/local level.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify, measure and monitor progress of Plant KPIs in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and Environment principles
  • Implement, maintain and improve Master Plan for Baramati factory under guidance of plant manager and professional family.
  • Align with Group Functions on upcoming & potentially identified projects under Ferrero Operational Excellence journey and applies the Lean techniques, on the journey towards World Class Operation’s
  • Actively contribute and lead H&S in responsible area.
  • Defines application strategies for standardized methods and assures their correct implementation within the plant.
  • Proposes/recognizes affected functions. Interfaces between local functions both between Plants and Professional Families.
  • Strive for continuous improvement by increasing productivity and reducing waste.
  • Monitors the project status and evaluates results and benefits
  • Follows local and global judicious projects in the following areas: product; personnel; quality; sanitation, hygiene; environment; safety and ergonomics; in order to reach industrial excellence.
  • Proactively takes part in Professional Family related activities, promoting cross-Plant coordination (cycle, waste and efficiencies), including training of new people and new tools.
Who we are looking for:
  • You must have a master’s degree in Food technology/engineering with a minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in FMCG, especially in chocolate manufacturing.
  • Knowledge on continuous improvement practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, project management, etc.
  • Time Management & Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, teach, and guide employees, demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Technical knowledge – understanding the basics of SAP, Project management tool, etc.
