Role & responsibilities

The FMDM Specialist plays a critical role in managing and maintaining data related to raw materials, packaging materials and Bill of Materials of edible and Packaging BOMs within the systems used by PVM India (SAP, PDR, other).

• The role is also responsible for the document completeness for assisting the Specifications creation and Quality and Food safety requirements.
• The position is focused on maintaining and updating relevant data, ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness for:
• PM specifications in PDR
• PM Master data in SAP, for the part relevant to the scope of FMDM within RDQ responsibility by raising request for code creation to MDM team
• Packaging BoMs in PDR
• Packaging BoMs in SAP
• RM specifications in PDR
• RM Master data in SAP, for the part relevant to the scope of FDM within RDQ responsibility by raising request for code creation to MDM team
• Edible BoMs in PDR
• Edible BoMs in SAP
• The role will also be responsible for the drafting of the labelling form, artwork approval and FG code approval workflow.
• The role will also be associated with the projects related to BOM validations & Process loss.
• Updation of the budget approved RM/PM Consumption and losses in SAP
• This position will also work in close contact with cross-functional teams of Supply Chain Department such as Manufacturing, Procurement, finance, RDQ (Quality, Process, Sensory), with Group R&D and with Regulatory colleagues, as well as with MDM, and other OCs FMDM teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Food Science, or other science related field

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Indian Regulatory System and Compliances, SAP
• Data analytical experience

Experience:

• 4-5 years experience working in Food Company, with at least 2 years of experience working with specifications
• 2-3 Years Experience working in Specification development and Research and development
