Brief:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive / Senior Executive – QA to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety at GO DESi. In this role, you will lead quality assurance activities, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support the production of our authentic Indian sweets and savories.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with FSSAI regulations and other relevant food safety and quality standards.
- Review existing policies and recommend changes or improvements, along with implementation strategies.
- Oversee product development procedures to identify and rectify deviations from quality standards.
- Document and implement FSMS requirements (ISO 22000:2018/FSSC 22000) to ensure audit compliance.
- Identify and implement new initiatives to enhance quality and food safety systems in the factory.
- Conduct supplier, warehouse, and store audits at defined intervals.
- Monitor and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures in stores.
- Deliver basic and advanced food safety training for all partners.
- Analyze customer complaints, perform detailed root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure microbiological and chemical analyses are performed in compliance with FSSAI guidelines for all raw materials and finished products.
- Upgrade systems and business standards to align with ISO and FSSAI requirements.
- Prepare and present monthly QA reports to management, highlighting QA standard performance.
- Measure performance, identify areas of weakness, and recommend and implement improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of food safety standards, Legal Metrology, FSSAI, and Codex regulations.
- FOSTAC certification in manufacturing is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Certified Internal Auditor qualifications in HACCP, ISO, FSSC, or BRC are an added advantage.
- Location: Bidadi, Bangalore (Rotational Shifts).
- Language proficiency in Kannada, English, and Hindi.
