Roles and Responsibilities

1. Technical Specification:

. To ensure that the new formulations, pack profiles, finished goods specifications of domestic premix products and changes to the existing ones are updated in the data base and all the concerned departments are informed about the Updation.

• To prepare and update raw and packaging material specifications of premix products in database.
• To create, communicate and enforce the coding standards of finished goods, intermediates, pack profiles, raw and packaging materials of premix division.
• To perform code and specification reviews and update the specifications of raw and packaging materials before its review due date.
• To ensure that the specification data base of the organization for the Nashik operations is correct, there is no confusion regarding the same and aid all the concerned departments in case of any queries regarding the specifications data base.
• To upload the Master BOP of premix division in ERP and of brand division in absence of person handling BOP uploads of brand division.
• To create the new Item codes for RM, PM, Intermediate (IM), Finished Goods (FG) and update the versions of existing ones for changes.
• To give confirmation of item codes to Marketing teams for adding it in work orders.
• To resolve BOP and coding related issues in ERP and assist cross functional team for resolving their queries.

2. Sample Management & Cost Analysis:

To prepare samples of domestic premix division as per the instructions received from domestic premix marketing team based at HO.

• To maintain register (both hard and soft copy) of samples that includes details such as sample details, batch no., sample qty., reference of communication, customers name, address etc. and make sure to enter details of every sample that are couriered.
• To support in conducting the trials of Vitamin, Mineral premixes and share the observations, trial reports to technical managers of domestic premix division as and when required.
• To keep track of analysis of samples with laboratory and communicate the results to technical managers of premix divisions.
• To prepare necessary documents such as label, COAs etc. that are to be sent along with the sample.
• To provide the courier details of samples to the concern marketing person.
• To prepare the cost estimates of all the premix samples, cost incurred for analysis of premixes on monthly basis.
• To prepare/arrange all the documents (Sample Submission forms, analysis reports) in a Master file (Tax Invoice file).
