Role: Quality intern

Internship monthly amount will be provided –
We are seeking a qualified Vendor QA intern to oversee the overall quality and food safety compliance in the supply chain. As a QA intern, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and verifying overall food safety and quality. Additionally, you will oversee food handlers ,training at vendor sites and address quality complaints. You will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate communication processes between the sourcing team and vendor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor compliance in the processing line with company requirements to ensure implementation of quality, safety, and hygiene standards at vendor site.
Clearance of FG as per laid down specifications at vendor site in accordance with indent.
Schedule and execute worker training and provide daily quality reports.
Exhibit business maturity in handling confidential information.
To troubleshoot problems, analyze data, report metrics, and determine root causes of issues. (RCA & CAPA)
Reduce customer complaints and improve product rating by implementing proper systems and standards in the chicken category with respect to sourcing.
Involve in new projects for improving product quality and product rating.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s/masters degree in food science.
0-1 years of experience in QA/QC in food industry
Knowledgeable in HACCP and other food safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to communicate in English, Tamil
