About the Job – Junior Research Associate – Food Product Development – ITC – Food Technology Jobs at  Bengaluru

Role & responsibilities
  • Execute designed experiments independently/under supervision.
  • Analyse, report and record data.
  • Understand current food products and formulations and prepare food samples/prototypes/specimens at lab scale.
  • Perform product characterization analyses physico-chemical, nutritional parameters.
  • Execute sensory & stability studies.
  • Perform cell based and non cell based assays.
  • Maintain traceability and organisation of experimental records.
  • Adhere to good lab and documentation practices.
Preferred candidate profile

Qualification : Masters in Food Science/Food Tech

Functional:
  • Basic understanding of biochemistry and food science, common laboratory techniques and assays.
  • Wet lab research (such as reagent preparation, biochemical assays, basic product formulation techniques).
  • Familiarity with lab equipments such as pH meter, weighing balance, spectrophotometer, bulk density, moisture, centrifuge etc).
  • Data collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting (experience in using at least Excel, Powerpoint/Canva etc)
  • Statistical analysis, AI LLM tools
Behavioural:
  • Scientific curiosity and willingness to learn through experimentation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Willingness to support cross functional and team activities.
