About the Job – Sr. Executive / Executive – QA – Khanal Foods Pvt Ltd Bengaluru Karnataka
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Experience: 3-5 Years
Responsibilities
- Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
- Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
- Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
- Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, ISO, BRC and GLP.
- Knowledge of audit process, Pest Management, Process control and data analysis.
- Knowledge of policies and regulations.
- Knowledge of vendor quality management.
- Knowledge of MS office and SAP
Languages required: English, Kannada, Hindi
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The role would be responsible to work on identifying opportunities for improvement in process and packing lines in line with QMS principles.
- Responsible to build specifications for RM, PM & FG
- The role would be responsible to identify process gaps and build mistake proofing or zero defect process.
- The role would be responsible to analyze the current defects and process capabilities of processing and packaging.
- The role would be responsible to drive establish & compliance to Internal Food Safety standards in line with BRC standards and other relevant standards which company would like to adhere to.
- The role would be responsible to build systems on RCA and corrective action implementation.
- The role would have complete responsibility on complaint closure and ensure repetitive complaint eliminations.
- Act as a facilitator in “ Quality Enabling” through Providing support to “Operations development” on quality(Training operators on PRPs, OPRPs, CCPs).
- Provide technical guidelines to the production Manager in developing systems.
- Good understanding on the agro origin raw materials, storage practices and validation process to maintain batch to batch consistency of the products.
- Effectively be a quality leader and ensure “Quality” produce, working closely with both Supply chain Manager and Production Manager, while actively communicating to the QA Director.
- Build technical strengths in newer emerging technical areas on Food Safety in the category .
- Responsible for QA audits compliance by various agencies including USFDA, FSSAI, SGS, CAPEXIL etc
- Institute robust processes with “quality by design” thought and build capabilities and operational structures to drive to zero defects.
Qualifications
- BSc/B.Tech./M.Sc/M.Tech in Chemistry/Bio Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Technology/Dairy Technology
- 5+ years’ relevant work experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
