Essential Qualifications –
M Tech./M.Sc./Ph.D. with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Science and Nutrition/Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering. The desirable qualification is Ph.D. in the respective disciplines
Experience: A faculty retired from technical institutions or a person of eminence with a Post graduate or Ph.D. qualifications having 10-15 years of experience from Industry/organization shall satisfy any of the following norms:
Teaching and research organizations of State/ Central government Institutions/ Universities
Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
Reputed Industries/Private
NRIs and PIOs working with reputed overseas academic, research and industrial organizations or having a demonstrated interest in Indian issues.
Monthly Remuneration – Maximum Consolidated Remuneration will be Rs. 80,000/- per month (remuneration will be varied based on experience, expertise in the field)

General Instructions – NIFTEM-T Recruitments 2022 – ADJUNCT FACULTY/ SRF/ JRF/ PA
1. Age Limit for as on date of Interview
a. Adjunct Faculty: Less than 70 years of age
b. SRF/JRF/PA: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
2. Application Fee: Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates are exempted from payment of fees).
3. Period of empanelment for Adjunct Faculty/ Physical Education Teacher: 6 months to 3 years based on the performance and requirement
4. Tenure of the Project for SRF/JRF/PA: Tenure will be initially for a period of six months or till the completion of the Project Period whichever is earlier and renewal of tenure will be done every six months based on the performance.
5. Selected candidates will have to work for six days in a week except second Saturday and Government holidays.
6. The applicant must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility conditions in accordance with the prescribed qualification, experience etc., before applying for the specific post.
7. The candidates must apply only through online application form available in the Institute website www.niftem-t.ac.in. No offline application sent directly to the Institute will be entertained.
8. The candidate must upload soft copies (PDF form) of all certificates and relevant documents in support of their claim in the online application form wherever necessary. In respect of publications, the first page of publications must be uploaded, failing which such publications will not be considered.
9. After successful submission of online application, the candidates are instructed to sign the hardcopy of downloaded application. The signed application form, self-attested copies of supporting documents and copy of e-receipt generated in SBI collect are to be scanned as a single PDF file. The scanned PDF file has to be sent to the mail id: [email protected] within THREE days from the last date of online submission.
10. The Institute reserves the right to Revise / Reschedule / Cancel / Suspend / withdraw the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The decision of the Institute shall be final and no appeal in this regard shall be entertained. The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.
