About the Job – AM – Ingredients Purchase ofi Ernakulam Kerala

We are looking for an Ingredients Purchase specialist to support Supply chain and RM purchase, exclusively as per the specifications from R&D department.

Qualifications

• Education: B. Tech/ M.sc Food Science & technology/
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Ingredients purchase in FMCG sector and knowledge in supply chain.
• Technical Skills: Previous experience in SAP is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Responsible to bring in savings and better pricing for all ingredients by vendor development and cost improvement plans.
• Responsible to support NPD team by providing cost effective ingredient options, multiple supplier options, Sample connectivity as per project requirements.
• Responsible to support business in terms of On Time Delivery In Full, Market Report and Price updates.
• Responsible to maintain the supplier audit documents like Halal etc.
• Ensure the procurement of ingredients within the Lead time as per the position matrix shared by the Planning team.
• To lead and ensure that New Product Development sample requirements are met as per the project guidelines
• Maintain the ingredients price tracker on fortnightly basis.
• To lead the alternate vendor development plan in coordination with NPD.
• To lead the fortnightly discussions with internal stake holders such as PPIC, NPD, Marketing to discuss on new projects, RM availability and pipeline projects
• To coordinate ingredient demo sessions/ Webinars etc. with vendors to share the knowledge on the new ingredient developments.
