We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Manager with a strong culinary background to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the R&D department, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality culinary innovations and product developments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, and Quality Assurance to ensure product excellence.
  • Oversee the development of new food products, recipes, and processes, with an emphasis on innovation and culinary trends.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer preferences, trends, and areas for product improvement.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the feasibility, quality, and scalability of new recipes and concepts.
  • Optimize existing products and processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency.
  • Mentor and train junior R&D staff and culinary team members.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and consultants as needed to enhance product development.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: M.Sc Food Tech. / B.Sc Food Tech. or Degree in Food Science, or related field.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the food industry, with a strong background in culinary arts.

  • Proven expertise in recipe development, food product creation, and process innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Deep understanding of food trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional creativity and ability to turn culinary concepts into viable products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in food manufacturing or product commercialization.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, certifications, and quality standards.
  • Experience with culinary technology and food innovation.
