Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the R&D department, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality culinary innovations and product developments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, and Quality Assurance to ensure product excellence.
- Oversee the development of new food products, recipes, and processes, with an emphasis on innovation and culinary trends.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer preferences, trends, and areas for product improvement.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate the feasibility, quality, and scalability of new recipes and concepts.
- Optimize existing products and processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency.
- Mentor and train junior R&D staff and culinary team members.
- Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and consultants as needed to enhance product development.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: M.Sc Food Tech. / B.Sc Food Tech. or Degree in Food Science, or related field.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the food industry, with a strong background in culinary arts.
- Proven expertise in recipe development, food product creation, and process innovation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of food trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
