Experience Required: 5+ years in frozen food production, with expertise in IQF and blast freezer operations

Role Objective:

To oversee and manage the production processes in the frozen food plant, ensuring efficient operation of IQF and blast freezer systems while maintaining high-quality standards, safety protocols, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

    • Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet organizational targets.
    • Oversee the operation of Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) and blast freezer systems to maintain optimal efficiency and quality.

Process Optimization:

    • Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure adherence to SOPs, minimizing downtime, and reducing wastage.

Quality Control:

    • Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP).
    • Conduct regular quality checks during the production process.

Team Supervision:

    • Lead and train production staff to ensure skill enhancement and compliance with operational protocols.
    • Manage shift schedules and allocate resources efficiently.

Equipment Maintenance:

    • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the IQF, blast freezer, and other equipment are in proper working condition.
    • Schedule regular maintenance to minimize production disruptions.

Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the plant.
    • Conduct safety drills and training for production personnel.

Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate production records, including yields, downtime, and quality issues.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management on production performance and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Advanced certifications in food safety and processing will be a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in frozen food production.
    • In-depth knowledge of IQF and blast freezer operations is mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
    • Familiarity with food safety standards like HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO 22000.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software for production management.
