Job Description
- Overseeing the day to day operations at the production facility to ensure optimal product quality.
- Direct and supervise the activities of production staff.
- Set and implement standards, procedures and processes for the manufacture of high quality products.
- Be on the production floor and monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with SOP and standards.
- Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the production efficiency.
- Assign roles to production, receiving and dispatch staff according to their competence and work demand.
- Motivate and supervise staff to ensure daily production targets.
- Coordination with planning, category, logistics and operation team to ensure smooth operation.
- Set and enforce health/safety procedures and guidelines for operation. Work closely with the quality team to monitor the various aspects of processing to ensure the final product meets set specifications.
- Prepare and present daily and periodic reports to update management.
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw material, finished product and consumables.
- Ensure raw material and finished products are stored properly at optimum condition.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external food production regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 6 Years experience in production management.
- Experience in Chicken/Mutton/Fish or any perishable items.
- Minimum Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering, food science or food technology or in related field.
