About the Job – Associate Manager – NPD – Perfetti Van Melle Chennai
Role & responsibilities
- Lead recipe development as per marketing brief
- Ensure material connectivity and flawless execution of industrial trials in coordination with local manufacturing team
- Ownership of NPD labs: Ensure right equipment and manpower allocation as per project priorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for commercialization of NPDs
- Liaison with local marketing team for overall project management like preparing Gantt charts, NPD meeting updates and samples sharing
- Maintain R&D documentation like PDR recipes, Stability tests, decay study etc.
- BOM updates on SAP Ensure timely availability of RM codes and SFG codes for NPDs. Executing BOM budgeting exercise.
- Ensuring ownership of stability testing and regulatory compliances for relevant products
- Ensure participation in GMP, Food Safety internal audits and awareness about quality of products.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/ Chemical technology
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in product development/R&D or process development roles in Food Processing/Confectionary
