Your background
• At least 2 years of experience in a multicultural environment.
• Food Safety qualification (mandatory).
• Good communication skills in English and the local language.
• Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
• Experience in facility, service, meeting, or equivalent operational environments is an advantage.
• Experience from IKEA Food is preferred.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Prepare and serve delicious, appealing, healthy, and sustainable food and beverages for daily service and on-site catering.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance by implementing global and local IKEA standards and legal requirements.
• Deliver a seamless food experience by securing food availability, presentation, communication, and efficient service times.
• Handle inventory management, purchasing, and price calculations with accuracy and cost awareness.
• Actively support IKEA’s sustainability agenda, with a strong focus on waste reduction and responsible resource use.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is always safe and fully operational.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by acting on feedback from co-workers and visitors.
• Be flexible and support cross-functional collaboration within Workplace Support when needed.
• Participate as a member of the first aid and rescue team.
