About the Job – Quality Officer – DMart – Food Technology Jobs at Indore, Unjha, Ahmedabad( Kasindra, Aslali )

Role & responsibilities

• Raw Material Quality Checks
• Inspect incoming loose staples for quality parameters (moisture, infestation, purity, grain size, colour, odour, foreign matter).
• Verify supplier quality certificates and conduct sampling/testing.
• In-Process Quality Control
• Monitor packing lines to ensure correct weight, sealing, labelling, batch coding, and hygiene.
• Ensure FEFO/FIFO practices in usage of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Conduct line clearance checks before production runs.
• Finished Goods Quality
• Inspect packed products for compliance with defined standards (net weight, labelling, shelf life, seal integrity).
• Retain samples for shelf-life studies.
• Food Safety & Compliance
• Ensure the factory follows FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and hygiene norms.
• Monitor pest control, sanitation, and staff hygiene.
• Support internal/external quality audits.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain inspection logs, QC reports, and non-conformance records.
• Raise corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) with production & purchase teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry: Preferably from FMCG, Bakery, Dairy, Grocery or any Food Industry
• Qualification: B. Tech- Food Technology/ BSc/MSc-Food Technology/Agriculture/Chemistry
• Key Skills: Proficient in Quality Record Management, Process Orientation & Product Knowledge.
• Age: Up to 31 years
• Functional Area: Quality
