About the Job – Asst. Manager Production (Quality) – Anmol Industries Bhubaneswar

PRODUCTION
  • Ensure to roll out monthly production plan.
  • Develop and lead the continuous improvement activities within the team.
  • To ensure that safety and quality are a key element of the manufacturing culture.
  • Build and develop relationships at all levels across the manufacturing function to spark ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Implement KAIZEN and 5S in the production floor
  • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of quality, purchasing, production etc.
  • Responsible for the product quality of the plant.
  • Employee engagement and employee motivation in the shop floor.
  • To improve performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation by LEAN deployment, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) culture thereby reducing cost on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
QUALITY
  • Ensuring that goods are manufactured as per the production plan, quality standards and targeted schedule, to achieve delivery targets and annual budget as agreed. Manage customer order /schedule requirements.
  • Ensure rejected product / nonconformance is rectified as high priority and that customers are kept informed accordingly
  • Coordination with R&D on technology transfer/R&D scale up batches.
  • Following the guidelines and coordination with QA and QC to establish effective quality control/assurance systems at factory to ensure of consistent quality product delivery
  • Ensure Product deviation and quality complaints are minimal
  • Ensure timely closer of the market complaints and ensure Corrective and Preventive

Action (CAPA). Sharing of closer report with Quality and Marketing Team.

  • Communicating with all the relevant people/departments and coordinating for all relevant inputs (people, plant and processes) to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved.
HR TEAM
  • Ensuring that the shop floor has the necessary manpower, competence, skill, knowledge, to achieve production targets.
  • Staff Training & Development. Ensure regular training of the team to enhance their skills.
  • Direct and coordinate all plant operations within company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
STORE TEAM
  • Coordinating with the Inventory function /stock control to ensure raw and packing material is received.
MAINTENANCE TEAM
  • Coordination with the maintenance department to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained with effective preventative maintenance schedule in place.
CORE TEAM
  • Establish goals and objectives setting for self and team and implement accordingly. Ensure periodical review of performance against the target/objectives of the team and take appropriate action.
SAFETY TEAM
  • Ensure to meet Safety Health and Environment norms. Ensuring accident free workplace. Compliance on Pollution related matter.
  • Maintain a clean and safe plant with regards to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Working hand in hand with the safety department and ensure that No EHS ( Environment , Health and Safety) critical incident and No Lost Time Injury (LTI)
ACCOUNT TEAM
  • Ensure MIS is prepared and circulated latest by 7th of the month for previous month
  • Plan, organize and direct manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets.
  • Plan attainment ,New products on time and Delivery on business plan
  • Meet Environmental Management System (EMS) goals as per specifications
  • To ensure process compliance and ensure no adverse remarks in Production and QA audit.

Qualifications – B.Sc in Food Technology /MS/M.Sc(Science) in Food Technology

Experience – 6 – 10 years
