JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive / Sr. Executive – Quality – Hector Beverages Bangalore, Karnataka

Senior Executive/ Executive – Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG – Dry Fruits, Nuts, Snacks & Processed Foods
Experience: 4–6 years in Food Manufacturing / Quality

Budgeted CTC – 5 LPA

Work Location – Chanasandara, Bangalore
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Food Technology, Food Science,

KEY DELIVERABLES: Executive / Sr. Executive – Quality – Hector Beverages Bangalore, Karnataka

• Leading the Quality agenda including Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety to achieve and exceed business performance targets through the implementation and delivery of the organization’s strategic agenda.
• Understands and manages the Units Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) objectives.
• Ensure implementation Q&FS initiatives to meet business goals.
• Represent as a key member of the Company Incident Management Team.
• Manage escalated, difficult or complex issues.
• Coordinate for quality and food safety risk mitigations.
• Engage and influence top management to ensure positive outcomes.
• Network in the industry to ensure the development of Q&FS best practice across organization.
• Co-ordinate Q&FS activities across other business functions and with key stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting by sites against business KPI’s
• Report KPI’ results for Q&FS and make recommendations to senior management
• Develop and implement performance measurement tools and benchmarks (KPI’s).
• Implement reporting systems in accordance with company policies.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture through aggressive review of site performance.
• Develop and implement training programs for Organization, aligned to the quality and food safety requirements.
• Provide guidance, direction and development training to team members.
• Coaching and supporting representatives/managers in delivery of the Q&FS agenda.
• Conduct performance management of subordinate staff within the human resources guidelines
• Ensure all Q&FS and risk engineering aspects are appropriately identified in all projects and capital investments.
• Observe and maintain the company’s policies and procedures.
• Manage regulatory compliance w.r.t. fssai and legal metrology.
• Manage quality in retail.
• Manage customer feedback/complaints with RCA and CAPA.

Any drink can be made to taste good. Or feel nutritious. But how many drinks tell a story? Because when companies get together and dole out a drink to the parched populace, it’s practicality. But when history and geography conspire to make a drink favoured through the ages, that’s destiny.

A culmination of efforts. Modified through trial and error. Perfected with every passing age. From a king’s royal cook to a soldier’s flask to a peace offering made by warring clans to a mother conjuring something special for her son’s return to a grand celebration of harvest. Everyone had something to contribute. And it’s their additions (and subtractions) that ultimately made their way into food carts in village fairs.

And while we’ve all experienced the joy of tasting these drinks at these carts at one point or the other, we’ve also experienced the often awful gastronomical aftermath of these little joys.
