About the Job – Engineer Production – The HEINEKEN Company – Food Technology Jobs at Srikakulam Andhra Pradesh

Production Operations:

• Lead and monitor all beer production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure adherence to the daily production plan and brewing schedule.
• Monitor wort production, fermentation, filtration, carbonation, and beer transfer processes.
• Optimize plant utilization to achieve production and efficiency targets.
• Ensure timely handover between shifts with proper documentation.

Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with brewing process specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor critical process parameters and take corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate with the Quality team for product sampling and quality approvals.

Safety & Environment

• Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies and safe work practices.
• Conduct shift safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Report and investigate safety incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S standards.

People Management

• Lead and supervise shift operators and technicians.
• Allocate manpower based on operational priorities.
• Conduct shift briefings and toolbox talks.
• Coach and develop team members to improve technical competency.

Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with the Engineering team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is available and reliable for production.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, yield, beer loss, energy, water, and chemical consumption.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate shift production records.
• Update SAP/MES production transactions as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
