Job Description
Objective:
  • Provides Leadership in the establishment of the Region’s Quality and environment goals and tactical support in the achievement of those goals.
  • Key area of focus is the management of compliance to TCCC Policies and Standards, monitoring the status of compliance through data obtained from Quality Measures, plant audits and visits etc. Drives continuous improvement in quality and environmental performance by ensuring both region and bottler management is aware of the status of Quality and environment throughout the Region.
  • Provides tactical support and assists in strategic leadership in environmental performance across the Region. This includes the delivery of effective environmental performance reporting and analysis, and the enhancing of skills and capability through the provision of training programs.
  • Provides proactive identification of potential areas of business risk, and develops programs to mitigate these risks.
Job Responsibilities
  • Quality and Environment Improvement: Provide leadership of driving and monitoring of Quality, environment & safety status in the Region, and the development of improvement plans, using all available inputs- Quality Measures, audit reports and plants visits.
  • Environmental Reporting: Provides timely and accurate Quality, environmental & safety performance data, as required
  • Implementing WRM measures and achieve the targets
  • Quality, Environmental & Safety Training: Delivers targeted training programs to build capability to achieve Quality and environmental goals
  • Issue Resolution: Provides tactical support in the timely resolution of Quality and environmental issues utilizing all available system and external resources
  • Product Commercialization: Ensures event-free new product launches through line validations, design of Quality Assurance and HACCP programs, overviewing mixing instruction preparation and marketplace evaluations and line approval from division
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifies areas of Quality and environmental business risk using available tools, develops mitigation plans and communicates status to Corporate, Region and bottler management.
  • Internal audit of plants and follow up for effective implementation of CAP
  • Cost Management of consumable of the Region plants
  • Driving productivity initiatives (Change over optimization)
  • New projects / process implementation (PET light weight, 1881, new packs etc)
  • Support for Regulatory compliance and timely renewal of licensees of plants (BIS / FPO / PFA / PCB)
  • Support for consumer complaints handling & resolution.
  • Understanding of Process capability to drive continuous Improvement projects.
  • Understanding of Risk Assessment tools like HACCP and implementation on the plant site.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements FSSAI/ BIS / Legal Metrology
  • Implementation of FSMS and drive Continuous Improvements
  • Understanding of Critical Interlocks relevant to Food Safety hazards
  • Understanding of Quality by Design
  • Thinking with advanced technological improvement like the Quality 4.0
  • Knowledge about ISO 9001/ISO22002
  • Qualified internal Auditor/Lead Auditor in Food safety
Internal Customers:
Responsibility for building effective relationships with bottlers to ensure continuous improvement in Region Quality and environmental performance. Excellent people and influencing skills with the ability to form and participate in cross- functional teams.

Qualifications:
Minimum- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing and Quality Assurance. Experience would include effective leadership of Quality issue identification and resolution and capability to achieve results through teams
Functional Skills:
  • Demonstrated acumen in Business and Finance
  • Track record of successful employee engagement initiatives
  • Understanding of change management and the principles of design
  • Expertise in supply chain optimization
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Proven credibility in varied roles during career
