Job Description: Assistant Manager – Production (Ice Cream Plant)

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring daily ice cream production as per targets
• Ensure adherence to quality, food safety (FSSAI/HACCP), and GMP standards
• Monitor production parameters: mix preparation, freezing, filling, hardening & packing
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch for smooth operations
• Manage manpower: shift allocation, productivity, discipline, and training
• Minimize wastage, downtime, and process deviations
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, CIP/SIP, and hygiene compliance
• Maintain production records, batch sheets, and MIS reports
• Support audits, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
