About the Job – Quality Executive – Foods – Marico Sanand Gujarat
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including sampling, testing, and evaluation of products.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant certifications.
Enforcing consistency in quality of supplies from RM & PM Vendors by tracking their performance & system implementation.
Drive Q-certification at plant and subcontract location through continuous focus on quality systems documentation, improving understanding amongst team and implementation audits.
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager and other stakeholders.
Document non-conformities, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Analyze test data and provide insights for quality improvement.
Ensure New Product Development prototype, launch and stabilization.
Ensure that all products meet the regulatory requirements set by local and international food safety authorities.
Stay updated on changes in food safety regulations and adjust quality control practices accordingly.
Identify areas for improvement in the production process and work with the production team to implement quality enhancements.
Lead or participate in quality improvement projects aimed at reducing defects and enhancing product consistency.
Work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into every aspect of the production process.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Education:
B.Sc in Food Technology/ MS/M.Sc(Science) in Food Technology
