Job Overview:
We seek a passionate and skilled Food Technologist to lead new product development and business opportunities. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise in beverage formulation with strategic business insights, identifying market needs, developing innovative products, and cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the beverage sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Product Development:
- Work closely with R&D to create innovative and health-focused beverages.
- Oversee trials, quality assessments, and sensory evaluations to ensure top-tier product standards.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain robust client relationships, understanding their unique requirements.
- Present product capabilities and customized solutions to stakeholders.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and developments to adapt product and business strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align objectives and drive cohesive growth.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure product compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in beverage product development and business strategy.
- Strong knowledge of beverage processing, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
