Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABD) is India’s largest domestic spirits company and the 3rd largest IMFL company in the country, maker of Officer’s Choice, Sterling Reserve and OC Blue.
We’re looking for a Quality Executive for our Derabassi, Punjab unit.

Location: Derabassi, Punjab
Department: Blending & Quality

Only candidates from the IMFL / Liquor Industry should apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor end-of-line finished goods quality per the EOL Inspection SOP, and record, evaluate and report the results
• Keep EOL defects within defined AQL norms
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on quality hold lots, production-related complaints and non-conformities
• Conduct scheduled FG warehouse audits and report the findings
• Analyse spirits, blends, raw materials, packaging materials and finished products against ABD quality norms and standards
• Help minimise bottling losses of wet goods and DG
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of EOL results in SAP
• Implement company SOPs, GMP, FSSAI and FSMS requirements in the bottling hall
• Train new QC personnel and bottling manpower on SOPs, GMP, PRP and FSMS
• Close bottling quality non-conformities raised in internal and external audits within timelines
• Maintain quality control records and deviation approvals, and prepare the MIS report for Bottling EOL Quality

Requirements

• Experience: 3–7 years in the IMFL or liquor industry

Education: Diploma in Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol Technology, M.Sc. in Wine, Brewing & Alcohol Technology or Food Technology, or a graduate/postgraduate degree preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology

Technical skills: Organoleptic analysis, knowledge of state excise rules and regulations, lab analysis and quality control, RCA and CAPA

Core skills: Planning and execution, organising and coordination, time management, communication and presentation

Behaviours: Teamwork, excellence in execution, professional and personal integrity, and a drive to keep innovating
