Role Overview

We are looking for an R&D Professional with hands-on experience in pet food formulation and product development, with a strong understanding of pet nutrition, ingredients, and formulation principles to join our Pet Care division.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate formulations for dog and cat food products.
• Conduct product development, testing, sensory evaluation, and performance assessment.
• Select and evaluate raw materials and ingredients based on nutritional and functional requirements.
• Support product trials, stability studies, and quality evaluation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing for product scale-up and commercialization.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process-related challenges during product development and scale-up.
• Maintain formulation, trial, and product development documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in dog and cat food formulation and product development.
• Good understanding of pet nutrition, ingredients, formulation principles, and processing.
• Experience in product trials, testing, evaluation, and scale-up will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
