Senior Regulatory Specialist – Your future position?

As the Senior Regulatory Specialist , you will provide advanced regulatory support to internal and external customers in order to ensure that all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, according to legal requirements and corporate guidelines. You will be based in Mumbai while reporting to the Head of Regulatory SAMEA.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

• Provide internal customers with consistent and compliant formula reviews and documentation in a timely manner to support global commercial, creation, and research initiatives.
• Assist sales teams in the effective commercialization of assigned products, identifying and addressing relevant issues and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer contacts, ensuring a thorough understanding of their requirements.
• Deliver timely support to customers, generating necessary documentation and meeting their expectations.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to provide effective regulatory support and guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support regulatory managers as assigned, identifying challenges and proposing appropriate solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement routine processes to streamline operations and maintain accurate request logs for tracking purposes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior specialists, fostering their professional development
• Identify training needs and develop targeted training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge within the department.

Your professional profile includes:

• University / Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
• 3-5 years of experience in food or flavour regulatory affairs.
• Good understanding of industry standards, local food regulatory bodies and requirements.
• Familiar in regulatory interpretation and regulatory mapping.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant business processes and internal systems.
• In-depth understanding of specific customer requirements.
• Proficiency in using regulatory systems effectively.
• Strong proficiency in PC skills, such as SAP and MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Customer-oriented mindset, focused on meeting client needs and expectations.
• Independent and proactive attitude, demonstrating a go-getter attitude in achieving goals.
