Job Title: Manager Vendor QA

Location: Keshwana
Reporting To: Director QA

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supplier Qualification & Approval

• Develop and maintain supplier approval program
• Conduct risk-based evaluation of suppliers
• Review supplier documentation
• Coordinate pre-audit assessments

Supplier Audits & Performance Monitoring

• Plan and conduct onsite vendor audits
• Prepare detailed audit reports
• Maintain vendor scorecards
• Implement supplier rating system

Material Quality Assurance

• Ensure raw and packaging materials meet specifications
• Review COA/COC for compliance
• Coordinate sampling and testing
• Manage control samples
• Initiate final RM/PM clearance from vendor end to dispatch

Supplier Development & Improvement

• Collaborate with suppliers on CAPA implementation
• Provide GMP/HACCP training
• Drive continuous improvement projects

Specification Management & Change Control

• Create and maintain material specifications
• Evaluate changes in formulation/packaging
• Ensure compliance with change control procedures

Complaint Handling & RCA

• Investigate complaints and conduct root cause analysis
• Monitor repeated complaints and trends
• Implement preventive actions

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain supplier documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare MIS reports

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Procurement, R&D, and Production teams
• Support NPD trials
• Communicate quality alerts effectively

Risk Management

• Perform supplier risk assessments
• Maintain blacklist/conditional supplier list
• Implement controls for high-risk materials

Education:

• B.Sc in Food Technology/Science or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in Raw Material / Packaging Material Quality Assurance

Area of Work:

• Remote location / Vendor site
