About the Role-
VRB Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen the Quality function at our Keshwana manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or both within the food manufacturing industry. Experience in ketchup, mayonnaise, sauces, dips, dressings, or similar food products will be highly preferred.
The role requires an individual with strong leadership capabilities who can manage a quality team while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions at the plant.
- Handle and mentor the QA/QC team to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process quality, and finished product quality.
- Drive implementation and adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and process controls.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage customer complaints, product quality issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor microbiological and chemical testing requirements.
- Ensure calibration and validation of laboratory equipment.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, and R&D teams for quality improvements.
- Maintain quality documentation, records, specifications, and reports.
- Develop team capability through coaching, training, and performance management.
Desired Candidate-
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or both.
- Experience in Sauces, Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Dressings, Dips, Processed Foods, Condiments, or FMCG Food Manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Must have experience in team handling.
