About the Job – NPD Intern – GO DESi Bengaluru Karnataka – Fresher Food Technology Internships in Food Industry

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive NPD Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for students who are enthusiastic about product development, food innovation, and learning through hands-on work. You will work closely with the NPD Manager and support the team in developing exciting new DESi products.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the NPD Manager in product development activities.
  • Assist in sample preparation, sensory evaluation, shelf-life, and stability testing.
  • Aid in maintaining accurate documentation and tracking progress to meet project timelines.
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance by helping ensure adherence to FSSAI, FDA, ISO, and labeling standards.
  • Be actively involved in the trial and testing phases of new product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, and marketing) to ensure smooth development processes.
Requirements:
  • Students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science & Technology or Food Science & Engineering from reputed institutes.
  • Strong understanding of food science, processing equipment, and machinery.
  • Knowledge of sensory analysis, ingredient functionality, and ingredient interactions.
  • Experience or academic exposure to lab trials, handling sample testing, and food safety regulations.
  • Awareness of the Desi-sweets market is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in Hindi & English (regional languages are a bonus).
