Roles and Responsibilities

This is a mid level role, reporting to the GM – Production, and is based in our winery at Dindori.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

The role will be responsible for managing all packing material activities for winery unit:

  • Responsible for all activity in production bottling shift as an officer
  • Maintain & ensure all relevant documents related to bottling line as per the BRC documentation practices on daily basis also compliance with it.
  • Raw material planning as pre-production schedule.
  • Manpower requirement & planning of bottling lines
  • Train & Enforce hygiene & safety practices related to the bottling line with GMP.
  • Ensure SOP related bottling & online labelling operation are followed.
  • Collect, monitor, and report statistical data and an analysis of the data within specified time related to bottling lines.
  • Identify maintenance challenges and able to get preventive maintenance done on time for bottling lines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, their root causes, and solutions to correct them within a team-based work environment.
  • Support and contribute to achievement of facility goals for safety, people, quality, cost- savings.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work with computer programs MS Excel, SAP
  • Required excellent communication skills & good interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
  • Good understanding of fundamental labour and waste control.
  • Ability to absorb and manage increasing responsibilities and excel in a leadership position.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, process improvements, problem solving techniques and procedures.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • B.Tech/ M.Tech ( Food Technology) or 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training in a related field
  • Must have supervisory experience and possess leadership ability.
  • Familiar with HACCP, SSOP, GMPs , BRC. Must have the ability to write reports & business correspondence.
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
