Eligibility & Qualifications
Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as of November 10, 2026 (with category-wise relaxations as per rules)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry, or a qualifying Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate degree in disciplines such as Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, or Microbiology from a recognized university.
Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both).
Restriction: Applicants must not hold any financial interest in the manufacture, import, or sale of any food article
Salary & Selection Process
Pay Scale: Fixed pay of ₹40,800 per month for the first 5 years; subsequent pay scale in Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300).
Application Fee: ₹500 for unreserved categories; ₹400 for reserved categories (refunded if the candidate appears for the exam).
Selection Mode: Single-stage competitive examination (CBRT/OMR) followed by document/certificate verification.
